3-1-10:
Membership also seems to play hell with perspective,
unless the guy has actually heaved himself upon this
poor waitress like some orca on a sandy beach.

3-2-10:
There are days when I'm convinced that burned-out drug
addicts have approached Buddy with ludicrously indecipherable
gags for his Quigmans comic strip. I'm referring to
people who have systematically burned out their cerebral
cortex by ingesting liberal doses of chemicals initially
intended as warfare agents over many, many, many years.
And, for whatever reason, Buddy has chosen to employ
the proffered jest unaltered. Like this one.
And then I remember that, no, that's just the way Buddy writes.

3-3-10:
It's hard to comprehend why, for one
crummy ceramic cat reference, Buddy felt the need to
create an entire alternate cat-populated universe.
I wonder when Buddy first realized that he had a ceramic
sense of humor? I mean, no man is THAT stupid. Right?
Regurgitation
Report: When this thing first appeared five years
ago I couldn't believe Buddy actually syndicated
it. This is more like something you doodle while
playing The Jumble, not a real comic.

3-6-10: I
wrote this gag back in the early 90s, at which
point it was syndicated. Buddy drug it out again
back in 2005.
I wrote this gag when the U.S. was suffering another short-term "energy
crisis", during Herbert Walker Bush's presidency. Bill Clinton's
eight years saw relatively stable energy prices. Then W came along and
WHOOPS! another severe energy crisis. Funny how that happens, ain't it?
So I predict the next one will occur the next time a Republican is president.
In fact, I guarantee it. Let's just hope that's not for a long-long time.

Regurgitation
Report: I don't have a copy of t from its first
incarnation back in the 90s. Sorry.
