Proof 4: Quintuple Threat

Now this is just sad, because Buddy has used this same chicken joke FIVE times.

The image at the upper left was syndicated October 26, 1987. Sorry it's such a lousy image, but this is a Xerox copy from a microfiche. The image above is a scan from the 1990 Quigmans book so it was redrawn, and re-used, somewhere about that time. I haven't determined the exact date it was syndicated yet, but I'm working on it. The image to the left was first printed January 9, 1997, once again on October 11, 1999 and then most recently on 9-20-05. It's odd how the drawing was at first ugly, then became slightly more sophisticated, then ugly again. One other interesting note is that this was one of the jokes I wrote that used our special code icon rather than my signature. We employed this weird object for about a year before I asked Buddy to start using my real name.
